Plans are underway to bring Dr. Elisee to the U.S. this summer. We are making plans for him to travel back from Burundi with David & Mae Kellum when they return from their visit in mid-July. He will then spend some personal time in Kansas, ending with a visit to our Friends Ministry Conference at Barclay College in Haviland, KS July 23-25. He has been invited to present a workshop about the work at Kibimba Hospital, and to give official greetings to EFC-MAYM during one of the Worship Sessions.
Following Dr. Elisee's time in Kansas, he will travel to Missouri where he will be a special guest speaker at the University of Missouri School of Medicine's chapter of the American Medical Students Association. Dr. Lincoln Sheets was an intern under Dr. Elisee in July of 2007, and has invited Dr. Elisee to speak about health and medical conditions in rural Burundi, and his work there.
If you would like to contribute to the cost for Dr. Elisee's travel, please send donations to the Friends Ministry Center, 2018 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67213, and designate them "Kibimba Hospital." You can pray with us as well that all the travel plans fall into place, and that Dr. Elisee has a blessed time of rest and effective communication about the Hospital during his time in the States.
