Dr. Elisee is in the US!
We are delighted to have Dr. Elisee visiting in the States for a few weeks. He arrived with David & Mae Kellum late last week and is presently staying with them in Oklahoma. While here, he was planning to have some medical treatment for kidney stones, but it became necessary to expedite that treatment when he had a major attack while traveling to the States. He will be having a procedure this afternoon (Wed., July 22) to remove the kidney stones. Unfortunately, he will be unable to attend our Ministry Conference while he is recovering.
Next week, Dr. Elisee will be visiting a colleague and making presentations at the University of Missouri Medical School. He will spend several days enjoying the hospitality of Friends in and around Columbia, MO before returning to the Wichita area.
Dr. Elisee will be visiting Northridge Friends Church in Wichita on Sunday, Aug. 9 and Argonia Friends Church on Sunday, Aug. 16. These would be great opportunities for you to meet him. He flies out of Oklahoma City on Mon., Aug. 17 for Paris, where he will visit family there before returning to Burundi.
Please keep Dr. Elisee in your prayers today as he undergoes the kidney stone procedure, then for his swift recovery, travels, and productive time visiting and greeting Friends in the U.S.
